Regular Livestock Auctions

Central Livestock is the largest shareholder of the Taupo Saleyard complex. In August 2007 a Liveweight selling system was installed in the cattle complex.

The Taupo Saleyards are capable of handling some 20,000 sheep & 2,000 Cattle on any given day.

Since 1995 regular sale days have been established and are well supported by local farming community with a growing number of farmers from outlying area's utilizing the yards as well. 

Stock Sales / Cattle - Ewe - Weaner Fairs

Stock Sales are held at the Taupo Saleyard Complex on the 2nd Thursday of month.

These sales have become well known with buyers regulary attending from outliying areas such as the King Country, Waikato, Bay of Plenty & Hawkes Bay

Monthly Lifestyle Stock & Sundry Auctions

Held at the Taupo Saleyard Complex these sales are run on the last Saturday of every month
